On April 12^th, 2018, Zhongway signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce in Jiangsu Province to have strategic complementary advantages by sharing resources and innovating business.  The two parties are promoting in-depth and comprehensive cooperation nationwide, to jointly lead transformation and sustainable development of business, industry and region.

In this strategic cooperation, together with Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce in Jiangsu Province, Nanjing Life Source Pharmaceutical Industry Co. Ltd and Chaojie Rongchuang Group, Zhongway is promoting highland construction of life technology in Zhenjiang.

Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce in Jiangsu Province will utilize its total resources to introduce into the industrial park enterprises of financial investment, culture and education, industrial manufacturing, IT industry, electronic and electrical appliances, health care, commercial and logistics industry, and counseling service industry.  The two parties will also utilize their global resources to seek to secure domestic and overseas mergers and acquisitions targets, set up venture and industrial funds, and jointly invest high-quality projects.  The two parties will work together on innovation and entrepreneurship service network and enterprise big data repository, set up internet financial platform to cover funding needs for full lifecycle of enterprises, provide well-diversified and innovative financial service for venture companies, develop multilevel financial services including light assets under management and project investments, further in-depth cooperation between industries and carriers, and boost extension of industrial chain among enterprises within the chamber of commerce.  The two parties will explore the mechanism allowing enterprises to be located and resources to serve located enterprises, and will also assist members of the chamber of commerce and the industrial park as a whole to develop healthily and rapidly.

Mr Huiming Cai, the Chairman of Nanjing Life Source Pharmaceutical Industry Co. Ltd:

There still exists great difference between the level of life science in China and the world standard.  International medical enterprise have set up a lot of branches in China, but they have not brought core technologies. There exists apparent technology blockade of western countries, especially US. The development of Chinese life science industry is a long and arduous task. China has to have confidence to develop with independent innovation.  With the support of Zhenjiang Municipal Government and the platform provided by Zhongway, we are confident to jointly develop a highland of Chinese life technology, especially innovation, industrialization and internationalization of medicine, by gathering world class top talents and cooperating extensively with world class medical institutions.

Mr Cai also introduced in detail the research of a guidance system for surgical treatment of tumor of his company, which listed in major projects of National 13^th Five Year Plan.  With positioning and imaging, this system on one hand could assist doctors to detect early tumor cells, increase the intraoperative detecting rate of tumor, and improve healing effects of patients.  On the other hand, the system could precisely position the tumor margin in operation, assist clinicians to precisely resect tumor cells, push precision limits of traditional operations, reduce wound of surgery to patients, minimize the risk of recurrence after operation, and have wide application in surgical therapy.  As a medical image equipment with independent intellectual property right, the system could enable China to begin to become independent on importing advanced medical equipments, and to decrease the percentage of complete tumor resection from 40% to 10%.

In 2016, Chinese State Council published Plan for Health China 2030, in which the concept of Health China was becoming an important part of the national development strategy.  In this plan, the total scale of health service should grow to over 8000 billion RMB in 2020 and over 16000 billion RMB in 2030.  Life health industry is closely related to people¡¯s happy life, economic development and social harmony.  It is the important move to carry out the development strategy of Health China, and also is the new engine for Chinese social and economic development.  Compared with US and Japan, our health industry is still in early stage, waiting for further exploration.

Zhongway is the biggest private developer for industrial park in Jiangsu Province and it ranks top 10 in China.  Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce is one of the biggest in the world.  Their cooperation might sow strong seeds, which could be very meaningful for the development of Zhenjiang highland of life technology.  We must take care of these seeds, which could thereby grow into high trees.  Zhenjiang Municipal Government would provide comprehensive support in terms of science and technologies, industries and investment funds, thereby to optimize and improve the industrial chain and ecological environment of our life technology highland.
