On November 21, the delegation constituted by Swiss ambassador in China Mr. Jean-Jacques de Dardel, counselor of Department of Science and Technology Education of Swiss Embassy in China Mr. Micheal Waser and chief translator of Swiss Embassy in China Li Hongyu visited Zhenjiang Science and Technology Industrial Park for field research. Deputy Mayor of Zhenjiang Sun Xiaonan, deputy secretary general of Zhenjiang Municipal Government, Xia Weijun, deputy head of Dantu District, Zhenjiang City, Zhang Ying, and director of Zhenjiang Municipal Foreign Affairs Office Zhang Guoyun; Chairwoman of ZHONGWAY Zhu Lingli, executive director of Zhongyehui Tang Danian and the assistant president of the group Yan Chuanliang warmly received them. 

As a China expert and a professional who has been committed to promoting the industrial cooperation between China and Switzerland, Ambassador Dardel undoubtedly has the comprehensive, meticulous and the most stringent evaluation standards for the industrial park. In Zhenjiang Science and Technology Park, the delegation successively visited the park hall, the enterprises entering the park and the maker space and even the park¡¯s supporting canteen and dormitory, and highly affirmed the high standards and the internationalized construction management level of Zhenjiang Science and Technology Industrial Park. 

Ambassador Dardel and his delegation also visited Isoft Stone Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. and interestedly tasted a cup of fragrant maker coffee. He highly evaluated the youthful and modern office environment of Zhenjiang Science and Technology Industrial Park. 

He thought that the fashionable, interesting, vigorous and networked office environment had become an important element to attract the modern enterprises, that many western companies would take it as a very important evaluation element at the time of selecting the office park and that it would even directly influence China¡¯s industrial parks to attract the investment of overseas enterprises. The environment saw today enabled him to feel the vitality of the Chinese enterprises and also feel the standards for building the internationalized China¡¯s industrial parks. He thought that such environment would satisfy Switzerland that would visit for cooperation. 

At the time of knowing that Zhenjiang Science and Technology Industrial Park had the convenient traffic environment, the delegation came to the dormitory in the park. The ambassador was amazed at seeing Zhenjiang South Station when opening the window. The dormitory environment also satisfied the ambassador. Ambassador Dardel expressed that he would want to live in such a dormitory when he came next time, and the ambassador also gesticulated ¡°Manager Zhu, you see, the dormitory in the park has a big balcony, and there is a clothes hanger. I can hang my clothes here directly in the future! ¡±

In the subsequent informal discussion, Ambassador Dardel sincerely thanked this reception of ZHONGWAY. 

He said that one fourth of GDP of Switzerland came from the industrial parks and that in recent years, he had reached many cities in China and had been continuously promoting Switzerland to carry out cooperation with the cities in China. He saw the builders¡¯ ¡°originality spirit¡± from the groups building of details and thought such spirit would be very conducive to building Chinese-Swiss Health Town subsequently. 

He suggested the next cooperation could be carried out around the following points: 

The top building design teams could be introduced from Switzerland to blend more Swiss elements in the building of the industrial park so that more Swiss enterprises could be attracted to come for investment and cooperation; 

The embassy could unite with ZHONGWAY to establish the long-term and sustainable exchange activities and the forums and submit with international influence so as to establish the sustainable Chinese-Swiss activities with the characteristics of ZHONGWAY and targeting the Swiss enterprises; 

China and Switzerland could cooperate to build a set of systematic high-end science and technology enterprise investment attraction service system targeting the foreign enterprises; 

The Chinese-Swiss ecological and green buildings and industrial clusters could be jointly built in the core cities; 

The Swiss high-tech enterprises such as life sciences, biological medicine, AI and new materials could be introduced to be settled down in the park because of the international leading position of Switzerland in the scientific research fields such as life sciences, physics and chemistry; 

The Swiss investment enterprises could cooperate with the park to introduce the Swiss high-end research institutions and research and development center to cooperate with ZHONGWAY to build the Chinese-Swiss research institute, academician workstation and technology transfer center and jointly promote the research and development and innovation of the advanced technologies. 

Ambassador Dardel expressed that the health industry would be the next ¡°gold industry¡± and would become one of the new engines for the economic growth of China. He believed that Zhenjiang Chinese-Swiss Health Town project demonstration project could certainly better promote the international cooperation between the Chinese and Swiss enterprises by setting up an example and innovating the cooperation mode.
