From November 20, 2017 to November 21, 2017, the delegation constituted by Swiss ambassador in China Mr. Jean-Jacques de Dardel, counselor of Department of Science and Technology Education of Swiss Embassy in China Mr. Micheal Waser and chief translator of Swiss Embassy in China Li Hongyu arrived at ZHONGWAY Huaian Software Creative Science and Technology Park and Zhenjiang Science and Technology Industrial Park for field research and visit.

On November 20, the delegation came to ZHONGWAY Huaian Software Creative Science and Technology Park, and deputy mayor of Huaian City Gu Kun, deputy head of Huaiyin District Yu Yongfang, director of Huaian High-tech Industry Development Zone Management Committee Chen Yuguo, deputy director of Office of Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs of Huaian People¡¯s Government Sun Xing and general manager of Huaian Software Creative Science and Technology Industrial Park Lu Jin warmly received them. 

Ambassador Dardel sincerely thanked the warm reception organized by deputy mayor Gu. He expressed that today¡¯s visit enabled him to see an internationalized and vital industrial park and also deeply felt the rapid and efficient development of economy in Huaian. He thought that the parties would have the broad prospect in carrying out the innovation cooperation. He hoped that they could take the opportunity of this visit to further promote the higher-level cooperation between Huaian and Switzerland in the wider fields such as advanced technology, high-end talent and innovation platform, and he also hoped to be able to recommend Huaian to more Swiss enterprises so that they could come to Huaian for investment and business promotion and open the new chapter of cooperation.  

The introduction of Swiss industries is an important layout of ZHONGWAY in response to the national ¡°Belt and Road¡± strategy and is a strategic deployment for innovation and development of ZHONGWAY in the context of ¡°new era¡±.
